Southern Regional College is currently recruiting a health and safety manager to work across all business areas and faculties at this multi-site college.
The college has a broad health and safety environment comprising students, young people and vulnerable adults as well as a range of specialist faculty areas including science, construction, automotive and electrical engineering, catering, sports studies and hair and beauty.
This exciting and crucial role will entail providing expert advice and recommendations to all levels of employees and senior managers in relation to the impact of health and safety requirements and risk to Southern Regional College.
A full-time position, you will be responsible for developing, facilitating implementation, monitoring and continuously improving the Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with all current and future Health & Safety legislation.

As a production operative – Level 2 – you will join this established team whilst complying with all aspects of quality, environmental, health and safety procedures. You will carry out all relevant activities to Good Manufacturing Practice, using appropriate techniques and equipment and following departmental written procedures in addition to the completion of necessary documentation.
