ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, ASSETS – FIXED TERM FOR 18 MONTHS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION AND/OR BEING MADE PERMANENT

SALARY:  Scale 5, NJC Spinal Column Points 12-17, £22,183 – £24,491 (plus 19.5% employer contribution which represents a total financial package of £26,509 – £29,267 per annum)

KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Administrative Assistant will assist the Administration Manager to provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Assets Unit including the Construction Services, Estates Services, Procurement and Building Maintenance, to ensure the smooth, effective and efficient running of the Assets Unit.

The post holder will undertake additional duties as reasonably delegated by the Administration Manager to address business needs and changing business requirements and will ensure targets and deadlines are effectively and accurately met, whilst maintaining a high level of Customer Service.

They will assume additional duties relevant to the post in the absence of the Administration Manager and assist with on the job training of temporary and new administrative staff.
