We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Cook to join our team at Moy Park, Dungannon.  

As the Assistant Cook, you will carry out all general cooking requirements, assist the cook/manager as required and maintain the standards of the catering offering. You will be flexible, hard-working, excel in customer service and have a passion for the role that you do.
The core hours of work for Adelaide House are 5 days out of 7, 0700 to 1430.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Cook in preparing and cooking nutritious, interesting and fresh food.
Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.
Comply with HACCP procedures.
Assist Chef in placing food orders and manage affective stock movement.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times.

Essential Criteria:
Level 2 CIEH in Food Hygiene.
Experience working in a similar role.
Experience working to HACCP policies and documentation
Flexible and adaptable approach.

Desirable Criteria:
NVQ Level 2 in Cookery or equivalent.
Excellent all-round catering ability.

Hours of work: 35hours per week, 5/7 as per rota.

Rate of pay: £9 per hour

Successful applicants will be subject to the relevant security clearance required for this role.
