BUILDING CONTROL PLACEMENT STUDENT- FIXED TERM

Scale 1c, NJC Spinal Column Points 2-3, £18,198 – £18,562 per annum

KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

As a member of the Building Control Team the post-holder will be required to:

• Assist with the provision of an efficient, effective, equitable and safe Building Control Service to fulfil the Councils statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of the Building Regulations and allied legislation.
• Work closely with Building Control Managers to support the delivery of other delegated functions such as Energy Performance of Buildings legislation, delivery of Property Certificates functions, Street Signage, stakeholder projects and other unit initiatives etc.
