Dale Farm,
Cookstown

As the Chef Manager you will have full responsibility for the catering and hospitality services across the unit in Dale Farm. You will be hard working and have a great passion for quality food. You will successfully lead the management of all aspects of your unit through coaching, developing, motivating and engaging your team and creature a culture to be proud of.  You will take great care in your work, have a strong work ethic and have the ability to help this business to grow.

The key is a passion for serving the highest quality food to our customers. Applicants should be enthusiastic about what they do, have a good eye for detail and be able to work under pressure. The successful candidate will have experience managing sites with full financial responsibility, having a good understanding of budgets, forecasting and delivering on targets. You will be a strong, confident chef and manager, who has previous experience of working in busy kitchen environments, working closely with clients, building excellent relationships and meeting their needs effectively.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

Operating a very busy kitchen.
Focusing on tasty, well balanced and nutritious meals for a variety of staff.
Developing the menu range and engaging with user groups on a regular basis.
Managing the compliment of staff and driving change through good practice and leadership.

Essential Criteria:
Previous experience working in a management role
The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
Good communication skills – written and verbal
The ability to demonstrate great team work skills
Level 2/3 Food Hygiene Certificate

Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm

Rate of pay: Negotiable
