Drivers (Job Ref: 22/NCDR)
We require Drivers to work within a newly created team supporting our new Lab/Travel Centre in Newcastle. This team of Drivers will be responsible for picking up COVID samples from partner organisations and bringing them to our site for processing. They will also be required to transport samples between our processing centre and our lab. All drivers must ensure the integrity of the cargo is maintained and all schedules are met. The successful candidate needs to be flexible to work a shift pattern, this could include 12 hours shifts across a 7-day rota.
Successful candidates will be shortlisted to attend an Assessment Centre. We plan to hold an Assessment Centre for this role on 9th February in Newcastle. You must be available to attend assessment to be considered for the role.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
• Full clean driving license with no points or endorsements.
• GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language (Grades A-C).
• Good organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal and team working skills.
• Good timekeeping/time management skills.
• Computer literacy advantageous.
