Mount Charles are seeking to recruit for a new and exciting role of Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor at Exeter Airport. The ideal candidate will be play an important role as part of a multi-faceted team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure within a busy environment. They will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of operatives, motivating and upskilling them to meet targets and exceed customer expectations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The efficient operation of the Bar and Restaurant within brand guidelines
  • Maintain and improve budgeted cost of sales through effective purchasing, stock control and wastage control.
  • Motivate, recruit, train and develop the team.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Health and safety.
  • Compile rotas and orders in line with the needs of the business.

Qualities required for the role are:

  • Ability to motivate others.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 or more years’ experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • A keen eye for detail twinned with an obsession to deliver brand standards.
  • Naturally organised and very motivational with exception training skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Third level qualification preferably in catering management/hospitality management.
  • Experience of bar management and knowledge of wines, beers and spirits would be an advantage

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week to suit the needs of the business

Rate of Pay: Negotiable depending on experience
