The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following position:
Title:                              Head of Organisational Development
Location:                       NI Regional Remit with Agile Working 
Salary:                          £44,624 p.a
Hours:                          37 hours per week & permanent 
Accountable:                Director of People & Organisational Development 
Closing Date:               4th July 2022 @16:00 

You will significantly contribute to the efficient and effective delivery and development in all aspects of organisational service within Cedar, and assist the Director of People & OD to contribute to Cedar’s overall strategic aims and objectives through promoting a values based culture and encouraging innovation and effective ways of working to build a resilient organisation. You will hold a shared corporate role in the organisation as a member of the Senior Management team, making a significant contribution to realising Cedar’s vision, as well as shaping the organisation’s strategy.
The post holder will be a strategic thinker who will build strong relationships both internally and externally, drawing on their exceptional professional background in order to influence others and achieve results.
You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Organisational Development function including :-

  • • ensuring effective User Engagement;
  • • implementation and evaluation of our Communications Strategy;
  • • working with the Head of HR in delivery of the People and Organisational Development strategy;
  • • building a culture of continuous improvement through quality systems and policy informed practices
  • • support and development of funding applications in line with our Strategic Plan

Essential Criteria:
1.RQF Level 6 (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent level professional qualification
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a management role to include:

  • embedding quality assurance into service delivery and using established quality frameworks
  • delivering against strategic communications plans
  • promoting effective user engagement and using a coproduction approach to drive organisational change
  • successfully managing a range of different projects and work activities
  • building effective relationships with external stakeholders

3.Knowledge of Data Protection legislation
4.Knowledge of the policy context of the Community and Voluntary sector
5.Competent in the use of a range of IT packages.
