The post holder will work as part of a team supporting HR Officers across the range of HR functions to include training and development, recruitment, employee relations, attendance management and management information systems. The post holder may be required to focus on specific areas of work as described at point 12 of the main duties and responsibilities.

The post requires a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, influence and advise.  As such, the person will be an effective communicator, able to use a variety of communication methods such as presentations, reports, letters etc. at a range of levels and using technology where appropriate.   The post also requires a high degree of competence in using computer systems and packages.
