A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

ICT Helpdesk Officer

37 hours per week

Scale 6, SCP 18-22, £24,982 – £27,041 per annum

Duration: Permanent

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provide ICT Support Desk resolution and delivery services, Technical and Administrative support for Councils ICT and Communications hardware and software.

Deliver a professional level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders including, as appropriate, taking ownership of customer queries and complaints and following issues through to completion.

Assist staff across the Council with use of Audio Visual and Conferencing facilities, mobile communications and meeting facilitating.

Work as a member of the ICT Support Team to actively participate in cross cutting initiatives within Council to ensure delivery of the agreed ICT objectives as set out in the Departmental Plan and the Corporate Plan.
