The Information and Communications Officer will be responsible for coordinating VSS communications activities, engaging with VSS stakeholders, and managing internal & external communications.  The post-holder will also work alongside an external public relations service provider on key communications and PR matters, media relations etc.  

The role also includes responsibilities in respect of providing consistent responses to external requests (such as questions/requests from MLAs, the media etc.), and in the collation of internal and external information to support service delivery/improvement.
