Laboratory Analyst, Dunstable – (Job Code: 22/LADU)
Randox Laboratories are seeking applications from candidates to join our Randox Dunstable Cube. These positions would be trained in one of the key areas of our COVID Processing Laboratory. These include Extraction, PCR and QPCR. Full training is provided so it not essential to have previous experience in any of these areas. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on laboratory experience.
These roles will be based at our cube in Dunstable.
• Clinical sample testing
• Specimen receipt and accessioning
• Specimen analysis
• Reviewing of results
• Working within a dynamic team of 5 scientists
• Nightshift only to commence the role but may chance
• 4 days in, 4 days off rolling pattern
• Enthusiastic attitude
• Will receive molecular and clinical chemistry training to deliver health diagnostics testing
• Human Science undergraduate degree achieving a 2:1 or equivalent – Biology, Biomedical etc. (human aspect required due to UKAS requirement of handling clinical sample results)
• Enthusiastic attitude
• Good communication skills
• Flexible to assist with overtime where required
• Experience within the science industry
