Manufacturing Technician – Packing (Job Ref: 22N/MTPA)

Location: Site 4.                Shift Pattern:     Monday – Thursday, 7:40am – 5:20pm
Friday: 07:40am – 11:40am

Randox currently require highly motivated and dedicated individuals to work within our busy Manufacturing Department based at Randox Site 4, Crumlin.

The Role:

The role will involve the packing of the full range of Randox and OEM Diagnostics products on the manual static or automated packing lines.

The assembly and labelling of kit boxes.
Packing the full range of Randox and OEM kits in accordance with established specifications.
The bulk packing of Randox and OEM components.
The preparation of kit boxes, and kit components in preparation for packing tasks.
The manual labelling of reagent vials.
The operation, and cleaning of packing lines and associated machinery.
Provide a contribution to the preparation and completion of relevant documentation.
The adherence to company Health & Safety procedures and the maintenance of a safe working environment.


Good housekeeping skills.
Accurate recording of data.
    3)  Working knowledge of departmental procedures

The candidate:

The successful candidate must possess the following:

GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language (Grades A-C)
Good numeric and organisational skills
Good interpersonal and team working skills
Good time keeping skills
Computer literacy advantageous
Previous experience in a manufacturing / production / warehouse environment, whilst not essential, may prove advantageous.

Full training will be provided. Opportunities for progression exist for those who show potential.
