Job Overview:
The role involves working on a new and exciting multi-million pound aerospace project for a key global customer.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Periodic review of internal resource availability against customer schedules
  • Develop master production schedules (MPS) against customer schedule
  • Review work centres capacity and output rates of production
  • Review and maintain a healthy level of WIP in the production floor
  • Monitor part flow in production floor and coordinate with operations staff to schedule for the parts completion
  • Monitor and identify delays in production flow and bottleneck operations and recommend/provide solutions to overcome the constraints
  • Daily review with production to discuss discrepancies and rescheduling
  • Plan and follow up on non-conformance materials
  • Daily review and clean up of data produced in MES and ERP to maintain system’s integrity

Successful candidate will have:

  • Third level qualification (mechanical/aerospace engineering or similar) 2:1 or above
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and/or engineering
  • ERP system experience is desirable but not required

Hours of work:
Days: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:15, Friday: 08:00 – 12:00
