Position: Casual cover Catering  – Variable hours
Chef Managers

ROLES

The successful persons will work peripatetically across a number of units within catering and healthcare.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLES

To cover sickness, absences and holidays and any additional requirements of our client
CHEF MANAGER ROLES
Rate of pay per role: £11.50 per hour plus mileage

We are looking for an experienced catering professional who enjoys the strategic approach and coaching aspect in addition to the administration side of management, and one who excels in a client facing role and enjoys product development and margin management.

Role Responsibility
As Chef Manager, you'll provide support across the catering services, including management of functions, menu planning and implementation, and chef development to supplement existing head chefs, to increase time spent on delivering service excellence.

The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a com-parable level in a company
Good numerical and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and writ-ten communication
Proven experience of managing client and/or customer relationship
Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Proven experience in catering sector, including stock management, cash control and customer service
Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
Food Safety knowledge and HACCAP at least level 2 or 3
Able to analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
