The MPLS Network Lead, will be responsible for leading highly skilled and dedicated support teams managing Telefónica Tech’s MPLS/SD-WAN. MWAN and UCaaS platforms. The team lead will ensure the ongoing operation of service to customers by the team, ensuring that service is operated within agreed service levels, and in alignment to agreed policies, processes and standards. The role will be key to ensuring the definition and delivery of value to clients and internal stakeholders.
Day to day management of the support team to ensure that customer SLAs, operational KPIs and quality standards are met
Ensure workload is allocated effectively to optimise available resource and skill levels
People management and development
Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of customer service at all times
Contribute to the overall development of the operational systems and processes
Being part of the Operational Support Services group, facilitating the resolution of complex technical and business problems, which have an impact on technical and financial results of the company.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.
