Job Role              Inreach Project Worker
Location               Belfast Health & Social Care Trust Area
Salary                  Starting at £20,444. A mileage rate of 0.45p per mile will be paid for work related miles
Hours                   37 hours per week

We are seeking to recruit an Inreach Project Worker to work in partnership with the Children Community Nursing Team. You will provide a high standard of care for children with complex healthcare needs both in the home and community setting within the Belfast area. This will allow parents/careers a regular short break from care.

The Inreach Worker will provide personal care and transport to young people where necessary and this may include some manual handling tasks.

Please note: Due to the nature of our work with young people, the vast majority of the Service is delivered late afternoons, evenings and weekends throughout the Belfast HSCT area.

Essential Criteria

RQF Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Health & Social Care, Youth & Community Work or related field
Minimum of 6 months’ experience providing support to young people 
Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom
Ability to work independently with good organisational, communication & interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria

NISCC Registration
Experience & understanding of the barriers in relation to young people with disability 
Experience of working with individuals with behaviours that challenge
Awareness of RQIA, Domiciliary Regulations and Minimum Standards
