 Quality Coordinator (Job Ref: 22N/RLQC)

Randox has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, target driven individual to join our growing Quality Control team for Randox Testing Services.

The Role:

•    Maintain ISO17025 accreditation for all Randox Testing Service sites.
•    Perform Randox Testing Service internal audits as directed by the Randox Testing Services Quality Manager and required by the Randox Testing Service ISO17025 audit schedule or RTS Management.
•    Manages and maintains the PT/EQA schemes participated in by Randox Testing Services including the review and investigation of unexpected results. Trending of performance in PT/EQA and preparation of summary reports for the Randox Testing Service Quality Manager.
•    Manage/review incidents recorded in the laboratory – including initial reviews of incidents raised and close out reviews of actions taken.
•    Incident investigation.
•    NCP’s – manages and reviews NCP’s raised or escalated into RESPOND database.
•    Trending of incidents and NCP’s and provision of reports for Randox Testing Services Quality Manager.
•    Coordination of changes/improvements within Randox Testing Services in conjunction with the Randox Testing Services Business Improvement Manager.

Your profile:

•    UK Science Degree qualification or a relevant background in Quality Control;
•    Experience of ISO17025;
•    Personnel management skills;
•    Effective communication skills;
•    Ability to work methodically and reliably under pressure.

•    Project Management Skills;
•    Awareness of Workplace Drug Testing Methods of Analysis e.g. HPLC/ LC-MS/MS;
•    Awareness of Quality Control Trending;
•    Experience in a Chemistry/ Biology Laboratory;
•    Experience in Quality Management Standards e.g. ISO17025/9001.
