The Role

Working as part of our global Health, Safety and Environment team, the successful candidate will be based in our Charnwood site in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The aim of the role is to provide Health, Safety and Occupational Hygiene support within the Almac Group.  The position is primarily concerned with the implementation of safety policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH certified and have prior Health and Safety experience within an industrial setting. Further details on the criteria for the role can be found within the attached job description. 

Essential Criteria

5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) with a pass in a Science subject.

NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).

Prior Health and Safety experience within an industrial setting.

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

HND (or equivalent) level qualification within a scientific discipline.

TechIOSH or AIIRSM status

Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Previous experience performing Occupational Hygiene monitoring.
