Security Sales Specialist
You will be responsible for communicating our security vision, strategy and solutions areas, working with customers and prospects on their information security requirements. Supporting the sales account managers and directors, The Security Sales Specialist will work as a consultative sales overlay, helping identify client requirements with a view to these clients selecting Telefonica Tech as the security partner of choice. The role is a sales-based and quota carrying. Telefonica Tech are seeing major growth in this area and the role would suit an experienced security sales consultant with strong commercial leanings and a desire to over-achieve. Key Responsibilities: • Opportunity qualification and discovery; • Consulting with customers on security services and technology requirements; • Working with Security Architects and Security Presales to scope security solutions for customers, ensuring those solutions are fit for purpose for all parties; • Creation of sales proposals and quotes; • Working with bid teams on tender responses; • Presentation of solutions and services to clients, managing the sales process alongside designated account managers to the point of order; • Once orders have been placed, clearly articulate and document delivery requirements to delivery teams, providing effective handovers to ensure successful outcomes and smooth transitions into support; • Work with 3rd-party vendors to ensure, where required, Telefonica Tech are the preferred partner, hold deal registrations and manage the process of vendor engagement where required.
