The Senior Technical Officer plays an integral role in the management of the Grants Office, working as part of the Management Team to ensure delivery of all office KPI and budget targets. The post holder will have particular responsibility for managing grant technical staff and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all grants and energy efficiency schemes, technical policies and procedures.
The Senior Technical Officer will carry out desktop and site monitoring visits and provide assurance that the highest professional standard is provided to our customers, on occasions the postholder may be required to carry out building surveys and inspection of works for domestic properties providing recommendations based on findings.
1. i) Possess a degree level qualification in Building Studies or equivalent Level 6 professional/technical qualification and demonstrate at least 3 years’ relevant experience in Building Construction /Surveying
ii) Possess a relevant BTEC Higher Certificate/Diploma or equivalent Level 5 qualification in Building Studies and demonstrate 4 years’ relevant experience in Building Construction/ Surveying
iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and demonstrate at least 5 years’ working within Building Construction/ Surveying.
