To assist the Risk Manager in the delivery of the Risk Management function and to ensure best practice including, where appropriate, insurance provision, compliance with relevant legislation, guidance and codes of practice. To be of technical and operational assistance to the Risk Manager, ensuring adequate governance measures are in place in relation to the work areas within the section’s remit.

Directorate: Initially OD & Administration, however may be required to work in any Directorate of the Council
Department: Initially Administration, however nay be required to work in any department in the Council
Location: Initially the Town Hall, The Castle , however may be required to work in any Council location

  • A reserve list may be maintained for one year from which other similar permanent or temporary vacancies at the same grade may be filled.
