Occupational Therapist in Somerton House (Belfast)

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation, delivery and evaluation of assessment and treatment programmes for patients referred to occupational therapy from the in-patient unit and out patient hub. 

They will manage a defined caseload using evidence based, patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinical interventions and be required to expand experience and develop skills and knowledge in palliative care.

The successful applicant must also work within all domains of the patient’s life; to be aware of their physical, psychological, social, spiritual, emotional needs and hopes and to provide appropriate OT intervention within their domains referring to other health care professionals according to identified need.
