The NIAO wishes to appoint a non-executive director for their advisory board to work closely with the comptroller and auditor general, the chair and the current team of non-executive directors.

Ideally, you will have effective and successful strategic leadership experience in a senior executive or board role e.g. CEO, board member or senior management team in an organisation of comparable scale and complexity.

You will have a passion for good governance in the public sector, as well as strong influencing, communication and change management skills. Your approach will focus on working in partnership and providing positive advice and challenge.

The successful applicants will support the pharmacist managers with managerial duties and assist in leading and developing teams to advance and deliver professional services. In addition, the pharmacists will be required to build excellent relationships with the pharmacy teams and local healthcare professionals.
