The post offers an hourly rate of £11.20 per hour from Monday to Friday and £11.60 per hour Saturday and Sunday plus 25p per mile, up to £1 per hour.

For this you will be required to complete tasks such as carrying the on-call phone for your local scheme on a rota basis, monitoring duties, mentoring new staff, being a point of contact in the community for staff.

Situated in Belfast, adjacent to the M2 motorway in the Duncrue industrial estate, this print facility has become one of the most progressive printing plants in Ireland.  They have vacancies for trainee press assistants.

The successful candidates should have experience of working in a time critical production environment and a mechanical aptitude to operate on a high-speed production line.

It would be desirable that candidates have experience of newspaper production or production line operations, although training will be provided, and experience of driving forklift trucks.
